An exploration of verticality, alignment, and ascent. The First Horizon mimics the stark, rising geometry of Devon’s high tors and coastal ridges cutting into the sky. By stacking these bronze structural cubes upward, the piece captures that sudden, breath-taking moment of reaching an edge—where the solid weight of the earth abruptly meets the open horizon. Each block is meticulously balanced, catching shifting light and casting sharp shadows that alter the form throughout the day.
