Structural Landscapes

The Devon Bronze Series

This collection of wall-hanging sculptures explores geometric form and deep geological time. Hand-built from clay and finished with a rich, metallic bronze glaze, the forms connect and combine to reflect the raw, stacked architecture of the Devon Tors.

Inspired by the severe beauty of the landscape, these pieces abstract the contrasting forces of nature. While some forms mirror the rigid, permanent structure of natural stone, others feature fluid crevices that capture the movement of running water. Through deep texture and stark shadow, each arrangement balances clean geometric lines against the weathered, eroded history of the earth.
